About the Stables

Where It All Began

The story of The Old Mountain Stables starts with 16  stables and three little girls who loved to compete at National level. What happened, the little girls grew up and the stables began to empty. Inspired by the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings Jennie began restoring the stables  into four thoughtfully designed fully inclusive and disable friendly holiday apartments.

It was a project shaped by heart, heritage and the desire to share this quiet corner of Wales with others.

The setting has evolved, but the spirit of Caerllwyn Ganol Farm lives on. When you check-in, you’ll still find the  stunning views and sunsets and a peaceful setting.
