Staying with us at our holiday lets in South Wales means more than a humble place to rest. It’s a unique experience steeped in passion, history and natural beauty.
Once stables on a working farm, we’ve transformed the property into four charming self-catering apartments, promising everything you need to enjoy a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable holiday. We’re also proud to offer disabled-friendly accommodation, ensuring everyone can enjoy a welcoming and accessible stay.
But beyond charming holiday accommodation, the size and location of our site can offer so much more. Whether that’s a large family get together, a business stay, a romantic getaway, or a wellness event, we have the space, facilities and surrounding beauty to suit any occasion. We will make it special.
The story of The Old Mountain Stables starts with 16 stables and three little girls who loved to compete at National level. What happened, the little girls grew up and the stables began to empty. Inspired by the natural beauty and peaceful surroundings Jennie began restoring the stables into four thoughtfully designed fully inclusive and disable friendly holiday apartments.
It was a project shaped by heart, heritage and the desire to share this quiet corner of Wales with others.
The setting has evolved, but the spirit of Caerllwyn Ganol Farm lives on. When you check-in, you’ll still find the stunning views and sunsets and a peaceful setting.

Our self-catering holiday lets in the Heart of South Wales are perfectly located to enjoy a number of outdoor adventure opportunities.

Nestled in the heart of the countryside, our holiday apartments offer the ideal spot to unwind and explore. With everything South Wales has to offer just a short drive away, adventure is always within reach.
